We’re gearing up for the Fourth of July big time here. We’ve been enjoying our traditional crafts and adding new ones into the mix. Here’s a bit of what we’ve been doing:
We love those star marshmallows! I just added a few drops of food coloring to small bowls of water. Then handed out stars and paintbrushes. This is a quick and easy craft to set up, do and clean up. The toddler crowd is mesmerized by it.
Star Marshmallow Flag Craft from 2011. Elli has grown so much and yet looks so much the same!
Stars and Eagles from a book of patriotic crafts Sammi checked out from the library last week.
Our mantle is so cute right now covered in flags and patriotic colors. We had fun with this project. Check out the full tutorial on Mom It Forward.
