These are from the class on how to use my new Bernina 1300MDC serger. I’m happy with my new toy and look forward to many hours of serging in the coming weeks.
I love the bright colors. We used them to see what each thread did and it was a great learning tool.
I threaded it all by myself! I’ve tackled the most intimidating part of the serger so now I can tackle any challenges that come up.

REGULAR sewing machines kind of make me break out into cold sweats (I came very close to failing 8th grade sewing…it is NOT my forte). That is a serious machine!!! Can’t wait to hear what fabulousness you make with it!

You are making me anxious to get my craft room cleared out and set up so I can finally use my serger and embroidery machines that are still sadly in their boxes… π

Looks like a fun new toy but it would be lost on me. I have no idea how to sew. π

I haven’t seen one of those in a long long time. I would be intimidated by it π
Glad you like your new toy π

I LOVE my serger and the time it saves me. I think the hardest part is threading them after I’ve not had to change setting for a while, so I’m very thankful for the manual AND illustrations! My dream is own an embroidery machine because it takes me a while to hand stitch the designs. I’m with JessieLeigh on the new kitchen gadgets. Super fun! Can’t wait to see what you’re going to create with this awesome new “toy.”
