We received the Gummi Label DIY in Shocking Pink from Sippy Stuff for review. I thought shocking pink was the most appropriate color since I am often shocked by how much Sammi and now Elli love pink! When the Gummi Labels arrived in the mail, we immediately opened them and put them on the girls’ sippy cups. Then I wrote each of their names on their cup and handed them out.

Sammi thought the whole thing was pretty cool. She loved having it on her cup and loved that it had her name on it. After lunch I filled their cups with water, as usual, and left them on the table for them to have whenever they wanted a drink. At dinner time, I ran around looking for their cups. I went into the play room and saw a few sippy cups but was able to identify the clean ones because of the Gummi Label. I liked that. It was an unexpected benefit of having the labels on the cups.

It has been a struggle for me to keep clean sippy cups on hand because they seem to go through so many in a day. But now that we’ve been using the Gummi Label, I always know which cup is from today and that helps us use fewer cups in one day. It’s also helped me be better at gathering up the day’s cups and get them in the dishwasher. I don’t know exactly how it triggered that cleaning button in me, but I’m happy it did!

The girls like having them on their cups so they ask for them. If I forget they run into the kitchen and show me where they are so I remember. They are easy to clean and to use.

  • Honestly, I have a ton of sippies and I just get a new one out when I don’t know which ones are the clean ones. We do a lot of dishes :)

  • Jeni:

Thankfully I only have 1 kid using sippies right now and she only has milk or water in them. The milk has to stay at the table but the water goes all over. We usually have one clean in the cupboard but it’s a struggle getting her to gather them all up so they can get cleaned. We run the dishwasher every day though so there’s at least one clean!

  • Jeni:

left a comment on my favorite color’s page! Ok, so I had to pick 2 because I couldn’t choose between them!

  • Jeni:

I’m also a facebook fan of Sippy Stuff!

  • These are a great idea! All of C’s friends seem to have silver Klean Kanteens, and stickers wear off and get ratty looking when they’re washed. C only uses a sippy cup when we’re out-and-about now, or when we’re having a snack in the rec room.

I like the blue the best, but would love to see yellow (it’s gender neutral, but more importantly, my gal’s favourite colour! ;) I left a comment on the blue page.

  • Adrienne:

Since our daughter is just learning about sippy cups as we transition her, I only own 2. BUT…even just these two end up all over the place because we let her take them with her to just get used to them. For storage, we keep all sippy cups, bottles, baby utensils, etc in a big bowl on top of our fridge so that they don’t get mixed in with “big kid” dishes.

  • I’m a fan on facebook!

  • I love the green ones… not gender specific since I have a girl and a boy. My girl is just starting to use sippy cups and my boy is growing out of them! right now they are taking up a whole shelf in my cabinet and it is a disaster! I need to organize them!

  • Just wanna state that this is very beneficial, Thanks for taking your time to write this.
