I love fall weather, fall scenery, and especially fall food! My family takes a yearly trek to the North Georgia mountains for the apple festivals that take place there. We buy fried pies of every variety–apple, of course, coconut, pumpkin, cherry, maple, etc. We visit a pumpkin farm and take a hayride. Then we go home and cook chili or soup–butternut squash soup is one of my favorites. Thanks for reminding me that my favorite time of year is quickly approaching!
